Rib Eye Steak Cooking

- A steak (from Old Norse '''', "roast") is a cut of meat (usually beef). Most steaks are cut perpendicular to the muscle fibres, improving the perceived tenderness of the meat. In North America, steaks are typically served grilled, pan-fried, or broiled.
- A thick slice of such beef or other high-quality meat or fish
- a slice of meat cut from the fleshy part of an animal or large fish

155:365 - Rib eye...
My kids would eat their own arms, providing that it was barbecued and so while the weather was nice we decided that we would grab some things from the supermarket and have a barbecue. Unfortunately though the weather only hung on long enough for us to get the BBQ lit and just a few bits cooked before we got a couple of light showers.
My son decided that he wasn't going to sit out in it so took his plate in, however my wife, daughter and I all stayed out as it was only a few drops. I even managed to get a nice rib eye steak cooked off on the BBQ that stayed really moist and tasty even though it had been cooked 'well done' so that my wife could eat some too.
Have to love those English summers...
Rib eye @The Oaks
We went to The Oaks for a Xmas gathering on Saturday. It was 'cook your own steak' so we paid $25 for this HUGE rib eye and put it on the grill.. it was DELICIOUS! $25 also includes two pototoes (wrapped in foil) and salad bar. Corona beer extra.
Love the atmosphere of this place and the beer garden is HUGE and vivacious, full of buzz and excitement!
